About Council 3080

Our Knights of Columbus Council is a diverse fraternity of Catholic men, and their families, coming together to support our parishes and our community. Along the way we have plenty of fun. In partnership with our Churches, schools, and local charities, we program events ranging from Holy Hours to Dolphins Bus Trips, and from Bowling to food packing’s. Aside from our volunteer service, our charitable giving usually focuses on helping local families in need – thru the Pregnancy Help Center, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and our parochial schools. We have active relationships with Seminarians and Special Olympics Athletes. All our social events are open to the public.

What young Fr. Michael J. McGivney envisioned in 1882 in New Haven, Connecticut has come to pass: laymen stepping up. Blessed Michael McGivney is now the only American parish priest to be beatified. With two million brothers, the Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic organization. Our Council, chartered Nov. 9, 1947, was the first in Broward County. Our unusual model – as a multi-parish council with a council hall – has been a big part of our success. We are home to the area’s young adult ministry. We’ve doubled in size in the past few years, and our 300+ members makes us the largest council in ___. And, our 3080 Knights range in age from 18 to 102!
